Acorn Adventures is a Community Interest Company which produces and delivers immersive outdoor arts experiences, storytelling walks, events and activities with a focus on biodiversity, local history and Cornish mythology.
Its home is in a private conservation area of woodland and meadows in the heart of the World Heritage Site of Luxulyan Valley, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Inspired by the natural world, Acorn Adventures creates seasonal Story Walks both self-led and animated by professional storytellers and performers, integrating people with the natural environment. Providing activities and experiences for local residents and community groups, as well as providing bespoke workshops for local education settings and groups.

Welcome to Acorn Adventure CIC's first Seasonal Story Walk this Spring 2023!Make your way to our home at Acorn Camping and Glamping set on a private conservation area of woodland and meadows in the heart of the World Heritage Site of Luxulyan Valley, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Directions
From the A30:My advice is not to take the Innis Downs exit toward Luxulyan as suggested by Satnav but to take the Cornwall Services/Victoria exit instead. Take the next left signposted Victoria Business Park and railway station. We are approx. 9 miles from here. Continue into Roche, turn left at the roundabout, signposted St Austell and continue over several roundabouts for approx. 5 miles. Turn left at the roundabout signposted Luxulyan and Eden Project. Continue to the Eden Project entrance roundabout and turn left, next right, next left and left again along the narrow lane with width restriction and weak bridge signs, down the hill 200m, pull into field entrance on the right where you will see a small acorn sign. (If you get to a Cottage you have gone too far).
If coming from the A390 in St Blazey, turn right opposite the Gulf petrol station, New Road leading to Prideaux Road. (We are 1.5 miles from this point). Take the next right signposted Prideaux & Luxulyan. Go through the hamlet & straight ahead, at the narrow lane with width restriction & weak bridge signs continue down the single track lane. 200m as above.
Hiccups: The main reasons people get lost are because of sat-nav directions. Please do not enter Prideaux House if it tells you to do so. If you use Google maps, put in Acorn Camping and Glamping.

This tranquil setting has many magical walkways and flora and fauna untouched and rarely seen are in abundance. We are open all year round so you can enjoy the area in different seasons. There is a beautiful woodland trail and lots of places around the site to explore such as our arboretum and wild flower meadow, and in the local area places such as the internationally renowned Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the coastal towns of Fowey, Charlestown and Mevagissey to name just a few.
